The unit applies to those who work autonomously in a team environment as they take responsibility for ensuring that specialist staging equipment is installed and tested in line with safety standards, prior to performances or events. They may be responsible for supervising others.
The National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work applies to persons performing dogging, rigging, scaffolding work and operating elevating work platforms.
